By profession, I navigate the ever-shifting landscape of digital and marketing transformation. By nature, I am a writer — and I suspect I always will be.

I have been writing for as long as memory allows. Long before I had an audience, I had words. Long before I had a platform, I had thoughts that refused to stay quiet — which is somewhat ironic, because in every other sense of the word, I am profoundly introverted. I have always had more thoughts unsaid than said, more worlds living inside my head than ever finding their way out. This blog is my attempt to change that ratio, even just a little.

Here is something I have noticed about the minds of people who live ordinary, beautiful, run-of-the-mill lives — and I count myself among them: our thoughts are cyclical creatures. They leave, and they return. They ebb, and they insist. This is because thoughts are children of circumstance, and since most of our circumstances don't shift as dramatically as we sometimes wish they would, the same ideas find their way back to us, season after season, like old friends who never quite got a proper goodbye.

For me, an idea left unwritten doesn't simply fade. It lingers. It builds a room inside my mind and moves in uninvited — a horcrux of unfinished thinking, if you will (yes, I am a proud, unapologetic Potterhead). Writing is my way of performing the exorcism. There is a particular, almost physical satisfaction in knowing that a thought has been caught, examined, and finally placed somewhere outside of me — committed to the page once and for all. And the beautiful thing? When that thought circles back, as it inevitably will, it comes alone. It no longer carries the quiet guilt of having been abandoned.

That is what this blog is — a release. An exhale. A place where thoughts graduate from haunting me to simply existing, out in the open where they belong.

As for what you will find here — I cannot promise you a neat theme or a tidy content calendar. What I can promise is honesty. I will write about whatever moves me enough to deserve words — and that could be anything. Because like all real, fully-lived human beings, I contain multitudes. And this space will reflect exactly that.

Welcome to the unedited interior. Make yourself at home.
